Time measurement system

The measurement of the time is solely via the ChampionChip. The ChampionChip is an electronic transponder attached to your racing shoe that measures your personal racing time. With ca. 50 % of all racing events in Germany and with all major marathon races around the world, the times are determined via ChampionChip. Please attach the chip firmly to the lacing on the instep of your shoe (do not attach with metal), as otherwise no measurement of time will be made.

There are two possibilities:

1. You have a chip. Please, give their personal Champion-Chip number in the registration form (seven-place letter/number combination).

2. You haven't a chip. Please, pre-order the timekeeping for 6,00 euros with your registration. You will receive a single-used-chip for your race with your startnumber on the marathon expo.

No time measurement or ranking without a chip!
